What personal data we collect

  • Account details – name, email address and password when you register for My Account.
  • Order and billing details – billing address and phone number when you purchase competition entries at checkout.
  • Competition entry details – your chosen answer to the competition question, and the ticket number(s) allocated to you.
  • Free postal entries – if you enter by post, the name, address, phone number, email address and competition answer you send us, matched against your registered account.
  • Payment information – where you pay by card, your payment details are processed directly by our payment provider; we do not store your full card details ourselves.
  • Correspondence – if you contact us by email, we keep a record of that correspondence.
  • Technical data – the strictly necessary cookies described in our Cookie Policy, used to operate your basket, login and account.

How we use your personal data

We use your personal data to:

  • process and administer your competition entries and orders;
  • allocate ticket numbers and run competition draws;
  • contact winners, verify eligibility, and arrange prize delivery or collection;
  • publish permitted winner information where required to demonstrate a valid award took place, as described in our Terms & Conditions, including providing information to the Advertising Standards Authority on request;
  • respond to customer service enquiries;
  • maintain the security of the Website and prevent fraud; and

  • our payment provider, to process card payments securely (once card payments are enabled on the Website);
  • delivery or courier services, where needed to fulfil a prize; and
  • regulators or authorities such as the Advertising Standards Authority, where we are required to demonstrate a competition was properly administered.

We do not currently share data with any analytics or advertising platforms.

How long we keep your data

We keep account and order data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet our legal, accounting and dispute-resolution obligations. Free postal entries are kept only as long as needed to process that competition.

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing.
